I recently obtained a copy of WS_FTP Pro from Ipswitch to evaluate for use with FoxPro.

Several years ago I wrote a parts inventory program in FoxPro 2.5 for a government customer that had remote sites.
Each of the remote sites exchanged data via modem using ProCom Plus.
I started ProCom from FoxPro using DDE, sent the data, and then logged off ProCom.

My customer now has an FTP site they use to exchange data and they want me to write a module that will put and get the data
to/from the FTP site. This would replace the modem/ProCom module.

I found a text file attributed to Kelvin Perez that allows FTP connection in FoxPro 3.0.

When I tried to compile the sample program in FoxPro 2.5, I got an error message ("syntax error") at line:
Declare integer WSFTP_Connet in wsftpdll.dll integer, string, integer, string, string

I need to do this in FoxPro 2.5. Is that possible?

I have been away from Visual FoxPro for about 2 years and FoxPro 2.5 for about 6 years, so I am having to re-think some things.

Thanks for any help,
