I'll get a little popup saying updates are avialable in the bottom of my screen while I'm working in VFP and while my girlfriends is logged into the computer with applications like IE running, I click on it, it goes through. Sometime I need to reboot, sometimes I don't, but its very slick and very easy.

Mike, you misunderstand. I'm referring to updates between versions of the OS, not support packs and security patches, etc. For example, updating from Windows 98 to Windows 2000 Pro was not a simple task and most people did clean installs to avoid problems. That is not a feasibility when you have 15,000 users. I agree the updates within the same version are easy and smooth though!
