>I'm using a connection string to access a database on SQL server. The connection string has NOT got the userid or password in it. The authentication is done by using the network login ID. This works fine on mine and two colleagues PC's, but when I tried using it on another PC an error was returned saying that the username was NULL. The only differences that I know about between the PC's, are the versions of the ODBC driver are different (3.70.09.61 on the PC that doesn't work and 2000.80.194.00 on my PC). Also my colleagues and I have the SQL client software loaded. Has anywone had a similar problem?

What operating system is installed on the PC giving you problems? Was the network login bypassed? This can be done on Win9X machines.
