It should work, I upsized my database some time ago for testing, there are tables in it with more than one memo field and also empty memo fields (most of them are empty).

I will try it again soon to check it out, maybe the memo field has to be set to accept Null values (modi stru in foxpro)?
Are you upsizing to sql-server, and what version are you upsizing to ?
