Thanks for the kind words, everybody. Actually day to day life wasn't that bad, the unemployment aid is sort of sufficient and we've managed fine, it was the lack of perspective and uncertainty that made us feel at home :) for the time being. Even psychlogically, we came here armed with a bunch of tricks on how to stay sane in an insane situation - had a decade of practice already. Glad this is over. This was actually my dream ever since I got to the UT four and a half years ago, to work with a fellow UTer, and Rox is probably one of the top Fox ladies.

Special thanks to Jim Nelson, who was with me all the way and helped as much as can be done online. In fact, virtual has proven to be bigger than life - I've met better people here than I meet in real life.

Now back to work... got to learn a few new things before I get onboard.
