You want CREATE TABLE in place of CREATE. CREATE is an interactive command, according to the MSDN, and is probably being blithely ignored in your code.

By the way, you had asked some time ago if a VFP 6 version of my Duplicate Record Checker program will exist. I'm finishing up a completely rewritten version, with a new user interface, and will be uploading it here soon. Once I have a copy of VFP 7, I'll also port it over.
