>Hi, I am using Vfp6.0 and Fpw2.6. I just bought a new computer with XP running at 1.7 gigs. Fpw2.6 wont run. Any ideas. George

George,
Don't know about VFP6. We're doing VFP7 and FPW2.6 on XP at 1.7 GHz. I ran into a strange glitch in FPW yesterday on that machine that doesn't occur on my machine with W2K and VFP7 and FPW2.6 at 1GHz on it. I'm gonna look at that later. Other than that I haven't run into any other problems yet.
On installation we had a problem with VFP7 finding and using FPW's home directory instead of its own till we changed the VFP config. You might be having the same kind of problem the other way around. I'm assuming you have put the speed patch into FPW. I don't know where it is offhand if you haven't. A description of what happens in detail would help everyone get a better idea of what the cause may be.
To make a long story short, We haven't seen any problems with FPW2.6a running on XP.

HTH.
