I think that it is less trouble to send printer codes + text file directly to the printer with "???".

9991 might help you with the details. See if you can make it work in Windows 2000. Since I recently uploaded this download, I am interested in feedback; specifically, does it work in Windows 2000?
Please note that I only tested this with Epson dot-matrix printers.
