I think it's the way that the list handles "[" and "]" which surround the alias property in the dataenv class.
Did you look in the LocalTablesEnvironment yet? I did when I saw your post and decided to investigate and that really messed me up since the alias and cursorsource were replaced with "[..h.dbf]" and "..h.dbf" respectively - an old problem dating from late 1999. If you run into that problem do a search on "h.dbf" for the last two years and look at the entire thread.
