"SQL Server dosent exist or access denied" and "Unable to find SQL server"

I tried using the ip instead of the name and it worked. It seems that novell dosent work well on xp so Im thinking thats why they couldnt see it when I used the server name.

2 of the 3 xp machines couldnt conenct, I think its because the two that couldnt connect are running a new beta version of the novell client and one is running the 2000 version connected fine.
