This is just a very small portion of a huge software package covering all of the companies business processes, so they are very reluctant to change/upgrade the software ... even if it would make it better. Gotcha. Sounds like the other have steered you in the right direction regarding sending printer codes directly to the printer. Unfortunately, I guess that will will result in hard coding to a specific printer type.
