Somewhere on this thread he use the analogy of TV companies as to what ISPs will become. It just seemed to me to be a poor analogy, knowing the standard of television that the TV companies pump out - could be this will be the way the new ISPs go - web services for the brain dead, rather than the wonderful, quality services that Mike envisages. It's more profitable to provide cheap low quality services for the masses who don't care, rather than high quality services for the few that do.
