We just started using CR and have created a couple of new reports. We have CR installed on our developers PCs, but we have not installed anything on the hundred or so user PCs yet. Is there a viewer that can be used from a user PC through VFP that can display the report without having to do a complete installation of CR on every PC? (I'm more concerned with having to pay for hundreds of licenses.) We've tried an Offline Viewer that we found, however, it seems to require that the data be saved with the report. We don't save our reports that way here. Tables are loaded at runtime with the data for the report and then the report is launched using the preloaded table for its data. In addition, we have not figured out how to call this Offline Viewer from VFP.

Is there a way to view a CR Report from a PC without installing anything?

If not, is there a simple viewer that can be installed that doesn't require the purchase of a license for every PC it is on?

Whatever the solution is, we need it to work without requiring the data to be saved with the report and NOT open in the designer mode. I'd also like to know how to call it from VFP.

I'd appreciate any help or direction I could receive.
