If it's SQL Server 7.0 or above it may have to do with the compatibility level. The upsizing wizard in VFP 6.0 required that this level be set at 6.5. I believe that this still may be the case and might be the source of your problem.

You can set the compatiblity level by using the sp_dbcmptlevel stored procedure. The syntax is sp_dbcmptlevel databasename, 65 in an SQL Script File. Be sure, however, to restore it afterwards.
