Title:
InstallShield: Visual C++ 7.0 Runtime Libs
1. Mike Stewart's paper on InstallShield (Walkthrough: Creating a Visual FoxPro Application Setup Program Using InstallShield Express), in the section "Selecting Objects / Merge Modules" states that the Microsoft Visual C++ 7.0 Runtime Library is required by Visual FoxPro 7.0. However, in the list of files that can be included, there are 3 check boxes for different files, all labeled "Microsoft Visual C++ 7 Runtime Library". Should all 3 be selected?
2. In the section "ActiveX Controls", the paper states "To include ActiveX controls with your InstallShield Express Setup, you should include the COMCAT.msm merge module." Does this mean that if your application uses any activeX controls, that COMCAT.msm must be included?
Thanks, Chaim
