You said that you'd had an expected value from the calculation. Did you arrive at that by hand calculating the values as an algebra problem, or did you follow the report function? If they differ, then getting the report function in sync with the algebra will take a step.

There may not be a filter on the report, but a difference in the 2 filters would cause a difference in result.

After the Table table is opened, is there a SET FILTER TO myFilterExpression? Or, is the table ordered with an index which has a FOR clause?

If so, that filter expression should be duplicated in the CALCULATE statement.
