Craig,
Just an FYI, you're right about the 30 day trial. Also, if you go to the Visual UML site, they list other sites which sell their software. I checked them out, and you can buy the VFP version for $525, which is $280 cheaper than if you buy it directly from the Visual UML folks. You can buy the standard (non-VFP) version for just over $300. This starts to bring it into the almost affordable range!
>If all you have is Visual Modeler, then it will get you started with class diagrams, but you're right, it doesn't include Use Case, Sequence, etc. You can download a 30 day trial of Visual UML.

>>Whoops - Sorry Craig. My mistake - you're right! I thought you meant the Visual Modeler which MS supplies for free and which is a scaled down version of Rational Rose.

>>I actually checked them out a bit. It looks like a pretty good system, though it is still pretty steep - $795 for the VFP supported version. Still, that's at least half of Rational Rose's price, so it may be worth it if I don't find something better.
