There is no offline tool, but you can build an offline reader using the webservice. The most useful methods for what you want do are:
GetMessage() which gets all the messages on a specific date
GetReply - gets your replies
Search() - let you search for messages

Currently there is no write capability with web service. As well the webservice does not synchronize with the web interface.
