Because I have developed in VB. VB and C# are built on the same runtime. If you program Java, chances are, you are going to like C#. In many ways, C# is cleaner. Still, I identify more with VB, because I am familar with that environment. IMO, the important thing is to get into the .Net box. Once you are familar with the IDE, which IMO, is one of the hardest things to grapple with, then you can go on and investigate other things.
