I think the only way you can do this is to create separate objects for each portion of the field and bold what you want. Your problem - I'm sure you know this already - is that you will have difficulty getting them to look like they are all one field on the report. Any chance that the font is fixed and that the length of the separate pieces are always the same? That would make it easier.
