I got an error when i tried that. Do i have to create the control first and if so how do i go about doing that.

I have a grid with no columns
At run time I create the columns
Then I set the currentcontrol property of column1 to checkbox1 (at this point i get an error) - Error with column1 - CurrentControl: Expression evaluated to an illegal value.

Each time the cursor contents are changed and the grid is refreshed the grid displays default columns matching the fields in the cursor. This is the main reason why i have to be setting up the grid each time this happens.

At this point getting in the control is of uttmost importance.
