Hi Allan..

I think there is going to be a learning curve for EVERYBODY - including myself..< bg >. For VB developers, while some some aspects may seem similar, a bunch of the new OO features, namely inheritance, it will be a bit of a challenge. Give me some time, I'll let you know..< bg >. I just ordered my new machine today!

There is no question that .Net is different that VB 6. At the same time, there are a lot of similarities. The key IMO, is to get in the box. Leverage what you know now (both VB and VFP). How does it map to .Net? That is the key question. Once a developer is in a box and is comfortable with .Net, then the next bite at the apple can be taken (ASP .Net, etc...)

It is going to be a fun ride!
