Nope, I don't think we differ, we're just in one mess of a thread :-)

Right now, Web services will pay of in private apps. Maybe in 3 or 4 years, when the profits are there, 3rd party Web services geared towards the business will emerge, because it will be their time (this is what I was talking about above). After that, 5-10 years, consumer based Web services should flurish.

I think we're pretty much agreeing that most of this futuristic stuff isn't ready for prime time yet.
