I've had good results running FPDOS apps with Y2KFOX under XP; some adjustments had to be made to the PIFs, and it's cleaner to run in Win95 compatibility mode, but it works. Just realize that the printer assignment of network printers is different by default under XP than previous Win32 environments, and use the NET USE command to map a shared printer by UNC to a DOS device explicitly, and with a little tweaking, it should work.
