Sometimes I got this error message when running defrag and VFP at the same time. In this case, the problem gets solved after restarting VFP.

Defrag restarts every time you write to the disk being defragged; it should also skip open files; but still you get problems with VFP. Apparently, VFP still looks for certain files in their old places. Or perhaps files don't get marked as "in use" for the OS.
