I don't recall any such problem with SCAN loops. Of course if you didn;'t understand the scan loop then your code could cause records to be missed. But it was never a probelm with the scan itself.

In direct answer to your question. the scan loop works exactly the same in VFP 7 as it has in all the VFPs
