Speaking of grumbling, I heard the most grumbling from the Access MVPs. If you think VFP was the neglected step-child, you should talk to Access developers! Although the marketing for VFP was abismal, at least MS still moved the product forward. Improvements to Access have pretty much stopped, and I'm not sure it even has a development team anymore!

I also heard some grumblings from a VC++ developer, saying that nothing's been going on with VC++ either. I'd say we're sitting pretty by comparison.
