You need to get OCX replacement of your VBX (from components makers). You must convert your project to VB4 and then you will be able to open it in VB6.

VBX are not usable since VB5 at least (and if I remember well, they were not in VB4 neither).

If it is not a large app, you may want to rewrite from scratch.
