I can click on your name and get all those messages marked that you have checked for help and that would give me a list of valuable messages. Yes, it's true that I could do the same in reverse way by accessing the contributer of the solutions profile. But, then again, if you take time to mark those messages, when I have time, I can learn some things by reading those messages when viewing your profile as I know you take the time to mark them.
