The DO CASE of the VB example further screwed me up because I could not figure out how a numeric constant was going to evaluate to a logical VFP value. I chalk this one up to not knowing enough about VB and having too much other information after failing to open the correct method in the control.

You mean you didn't try to figure out what table the Case field was in the Select Case statement?< g,d&r >

Stuff like this happens to all of us (and sometimes I think I get a disproportionate share).:-)
