I have often wanted to display a simple message like "SEARCHING..." while the program is doing something that might take several seconds to complete and then remove it when the search is done. I have tried using text that is set to not visible and then tried to make it visible, but the rest of the code completes before the screen updates and shows the text. It will work fine if you place it in the MouseButtonDown event, but if the user does an [Alt]+[Key] to access the button, the MouseButtonDown is not activated. Any ideas on how to let the user know that something is happening?
