I think this is misleading advice, and it looks like you don't have an understanding of what the VFP Web Services in VFP7 do (which is create an MTDLL COM and an ASP to call it).

How about:

If you've already got the code, why not just run the Web Service publisher, which creates all the ASP stuff for you, plus makes using your Web service much more intuitive and standard than raw HTTP calls to an Active Server Page.
