Well, if I can convince my client that they'll have a 95% reliable module, and it will cost a 1/1000, they might see the benifit and go with it.

Keep in mind, I am not talking about very critical applications here. The idea is, too plug in all the weak stuff, so we can spend more time doing the hard core development on the critical, custom stuff like what you're talking about.
