>My applicant creates temp tables in the load event of forms and released in the destroy event. I have intermittent problems only when using Win 2000 & Win XP where I get an error alias not found. This problem doesn't exist in Win 95/98 and ME

Drew Speedie wrote an excellent (very practical) article for Fox Advisor regarding the order of form instantiation.

"LISA G: Form Instantiation and Other Animals "

Form instantiation theoretically occurs in the following order :

Load
Init
Show
Activate
GetFocus

LISA G

The article outlines a 'bug' in the way Foxpro instantiates forms when placing
code in these various start up events.
I would not be surprised at all if this is the crux of your difficulty...

If you post the code you have in the above method calls I might be able to help you resolve this issue.... too bad Advisor doesn't give online access to its archived articles....
