The version that shipped with VFP7 is very trimmed down.
Beyond using it as a free easy way to distribute the Runtimes, I dont really think it is worth it, and you would be much better served to purchase a proper license.
One of the major problems being apparently no upgrade path, requiring the existing installation to be removed before the new one can be installed, and this isnt even done automatically.
