Programmer

Reporting to the Manager, MIS, the incumbent will be responsible for supporting existing systems including modifying programs, advising users, and providing for data security through back-up procedures. In addition, programming of new applications under the general supervision will be required.

Qualifications include: University or College diploma in Computer science with training in Applications Programming including X-Base and RDBMS; minimum of two (2) years previous programming experience in a FoxPro environment (experience with both FoxPro 2.6 and Visual FoxPro is required), including troubleshooting of system problems; demonstrated experience in a Local Area Network environment; demonstrated experience in providing technical advice to microcomputer users; and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
