I have an application. It has size (exe file) about 16 MB. I've divided it into two parts: EXE file (10 MB) and DBF/FPT file with my app reports stored in its memo field (6MB). I thought my smaller exe will start faster. But it seems that size of exe is not important - the difference of load times is insignificant (also when exe was started from network).
I am curious is a limit of exe file when parting exe file in smaller chunks is a need. Maybe someone made some tests ?
I am curious also, how VFP load exe file in memory all or a part, (how big is this part) and etc. Maybe it is somewhere described ?
