Robin,
Web Services could play a role in this, but, the better place for this post might be the Internet Applications section. Having said that, there are several choices you could make. If keeping your VFP code and logic without rewriting everything is important, then you probably could rule out pure ASP scripting. My personal advice, though, would be to try to use as much Microsoft technology in your solution as possible. It's stable, will be supported into the future, and also fits in well with your client's perceptions of what web apps should be.
We use VFp mtdlls called from ASP. This can use most of your existing VFP code, is extremely fast, and just looks like another ASP page to anyone browsing the web app. Another added benefit is that you could call the same vfp mtdll from ASP.net giving your web app a strong future direction.
This is just my opinion - also take a look at FoxWeb and WWC. Good luck!
