The problem has nothing to do with running the EXE. I included a CONFIG.FPW which had all the setting for resource and temp directories.
The problem is some kind of security issue. From the program I tried to delete the file and I get file access denied. There are NO other programs runnning that would have a lock on this file! This is a Windows 98 computer with 2.5G free space. AND I can delete and copy the file within Explorer. The program works fine on other Windows 98 computers.
