Ok, I answered most of my questions. Although MS said that these items were not supported a search of HP and Iomega turned-up information/software/drivers to the contrary. I did find out that I can upgrade to XP Pro, but I'm still unsure how to do it with the factory-installed XP Home as there is not OS disk; only those used for system and application recovery.

>Bought a new machine yesterday that came loaded with XP Home. Couple things... I thought I would be able to just hook-up my zip drive and scanner and do a hardware install, but they are not even in the hardware list. There are no HP scanners and nothing for Iomega. Also, using the install disks for either one did not do anything (well, it loaded software, but no access to the hardware). It would be sad if these are no longer compatible. They worked fine on my W2K system. One more thing... Can I easily upgrade to XP Pro? Even if the XP Home came pre-loaded? Thanks!
