I figured something like that. This has probably been covered many times before but my head is so full details from asp, jscript, vbscript, wconnect, activevfp, xml, wwxml, etc., I guess I can't see the forest for the trees.
So, assuming the server can take an xml query from the client and search a database relatively quick, why use cursortoxml()to begin with?
I can understand using it to set up the client xml query but not the server, specially for large amounts of new/changing data.
