Well, again, if you feel comfortable directing your customers to a site you cannot guarantee then just remember that your customers, even if they understand that sites can and do disappear, will still begin to suspect your judgement for directing them there in the firat place.

Just think about it..

Well, see above. I totally understand your desire to avoid costs. In that case just provide the web service yourself.
