Hi !
In meantime I thought a little bit about it.
It DOS time we have 640 KB memory and average application was about 300KB and worked fine. Now workstation has 64-256 MB RAM. If we use simple comparison
VFP application with exe size up to 128MB should run just fine when it is installed on local drive. In network environment we can use a launcher to start it from local drive and again all is OK with big exe file.
But there is a next question:
what about application that runs on terminal server - does size matter in such environment (for example 20 user an 1GB memory on server) ?

>I always prefer to include all stuff into the exe. It's just easier to distribute. Some clients may say, "Oh, an 8 MB file, that's a lot!", but I never had the feeling that this hurts the performance.
