Does anyone disconnect from the sql server after a certian period of inactivity? If so, how long do you wait and how did you implement this? (Do you use the Idletimeout property or have your own custom timer?)(Do you just put up a warning and then close the program and force them to reopen it or do you have routiens that reestablish the connection?)

I tried to do this by using the IdleTimeOut property of the connection but it never actually disconnects, the connection variable is always valid no matter how long I wait.

Thanks if advance for your help.
