I believe that you are right. I had forgotten that we had discovered this behavior a couple of years ago (Andy and Paul actually wrote about it in the Kitbox column in FoxTalk back around July of 1999). That is why you need the lValidatingRow property. Otherwise you get anomalous behavior.
