I think you should consider:

1) Getting VFP7 asap;
2) Use it's Help until the HAcker's for VFP7 is published;
3) Get Hacker's for VFP7 as soon as it is published

I think that you will find the Help for VFP7 to be more user-friendly and more complete than any of the other versions. In addition, of course, you will have all of the latest and greatest features/tools available to you.
