If you are comfortable with linear logic, but new to OOP, I recommend:
1)The Fundamentals : Building Visual Studio Applications on a Visual FoxPro 6.0 Foundation
Once you are comfortable with everything in that book, then move on to:
2)Effective Techniques for Application Development with Visual FoxPro
I don't think there is a VFP7 version out yet, but these books are great for concepts and practical examples! I could not be without my Hackers Guide (the greatest reference around), but it is not an exercise driven book for new to OOP programmers.
