Sorry, but many people have discovered through their own efforts that many, many ads on Dice are fake, or replays of very old ads. Dice doesn't want to see their ad total go down too low, so they are playing games. Total numbers on Dice are irrelevent.

I was previously looking for work in Oracle and using Dice as a resource. Many people on the Oracle newsgroups made comments about not getting any replys back from ads on Dice
