Just out of curiosity, aren't these Forms comming from a FoxPro 2.x converted version? I am asking that because I have used some Forms in VFP 6.0 the same way you describe succefull, but the difference is that they were in READ COMPATIBILITY MODE because a functional converstion was made over them when we converted from FoxPro 2.5 to VFP.
