Thanks for the response Jim. I also could fit the specific example you used into the Comment box, but when I tried to fit the full code shown in my original email, it does not fit. The box I am referring to is called "Comment" and it is displayed at the bottom of the window which appears when you Dbl-click a field object in the report designer.
RGB(0,0,0,0,0,0) is part of the IF_COLOR expression which is not native FoxPro but part of the GenrepoX requirements, and it requires 6 RGB numbers. GenrepoX has its own set of expressions which you type in the Comment box, and it then uses this to create a different FRX file from which it then runs the report (something like that anyway ... I'm still learning how it works). The IF_COLOR code works fine as long as the list of expressions is not truncated by what appears to be a limitation on the number of characters that can fit in the Comment box.
